ABOUT ME

I have just returned to the States after living in New Zealand for nearly 9 years which has been spent mostly working on a masters and then PhD in hazard and disaster management' when not traveling or getting too distracted playing outside that is. Before NZ I lived in Hawaii and MA, USA.

PHILOSOPHY

It's easy to have good conversations with almost anyone and to learn something new from anyone as long as you are at least a little open-minded.

Making travel more affordable is a big win for me personally. But making things cost effective is not what makes it memorable travel.

Have hosted and couch surfed on this site for a few years now. Iam currently living and working on a historic schooner so am not able to host.

Interests

Into all sorts of stuff: reading, camping, scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking etc. Also like crafting and have a home business doing steampunk craftyness and nerdy jewellery.
