About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeing as much of the world as possible.

ABOUT ME

I'm a professional circus performer, actor, and writer.

PHILOSOPHY

"Be strong to be useful" - George Hebert

We all have a responsibility to strive to be our best so we can help others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to participate as much as I can, though, unfortunately, hosting is not currently an option. I'd like to get back to being involved even when I'm not traveling as it's a great way to learn about the place where you already live and to meet interesting new folks!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At one point, I surfed quite a bit but it's been a long time and I've missed it. I'm glad to be back!

Interests

Cooking, exercise, being outdoors, theater, music, travel, languages.

I also really love unusual attractions - things like the Bomarzo "Monster Park" in Italy or the elevator in Prague that has no doors or buttons and you literally just jump on and off when it passes your floor. The weirder the better.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz (especially hot club music), Americana/folk, singer-songwriter stuff, GoGo Penguin, Stanley Clarke.

Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Vonnegut, Sedaris and Watterson. I've started reading Haruki Murakami and really dig him, as well, but the best thing I've read recently is "Educated" by Tara Westover.

A really wide range of stuff, but my desert island movies include The Fall, The Princess Bride, The Muppet Movie, Raising Arizona, and The Prestige.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once got hit by a car and walked away without a scratch.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach cooking, acrobatics/circus skills, and exercise/movement stuff

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, expert help in the kitchen, weird stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, United States
