I'm eager to see the world and meet new people; the essence of living is experience not static fixity. As a young graduate anthropologist I know one thing for certain, and that is that you can never know what you don't know, but I'm eternally curious and want to! In doing so I hope to break lingual and cultural boundaries and find new people and places with which to spend my days.

Música, películas y libros

I say you cannot judge something as a work of art unless you know it's context and have first acquired a taste for it! That's a pretty broad attitude however, but I love finding new works and genres that challenge my tastes. I love music as varied as Western classical, from Bach to Phillip Glass, and more recent classics such as The Beatles, David Bowie, The Velvet Underground and Kate Bush. I also love traditional African music, all sorts of electronica and contemporary indie and psychedelic/experimental rock or post punk. But what's in a genre?
I like movies that don't make sense, make me think or make me laugh hysterically.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

As an inquisitive mind I'm a lover of all things cultural, and am eager to learn and experience these. I am also an avid cook and love cooking for others, as I believe to eat the cuisine of a place is literally to consume their culture. I love art, stories and music and would be eager to share these with others and to hear/see/experience theirs. These loves are probably only surpassed by my love of wine and fine conversation!
