ABOUT ME

I am a half Iranian, half Austrian guy from the beautiful city of Vienna. Besides Vienna I've also lived in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia) for a year in total and 6 years in China (Beijing and Shanghai). I recently returned to Austria - and am hoping to rediscover Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to see the positive thing in everything that happens to me. If it's something bad: then I simply add it to life experience, which is then good again.
Besides that I try to be as pro-active as possible. Laziness is not my thing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If my apartment situation allows (I can't host at the moment, as I don't have my own apartment), I try to host whenever possible! It's just fun having sometimes after work random people from all over the world in your living room, sharing stories, experiences, knowledge and thoughts with you - and then suddenly they are gone again as quickly as they had come into your life and but have left some cool memories and insights.

I love sports. I used to do a lot of Thai-boxing and Climbing. And everybody who loves sports loves to eat as well! And besides that... well, the usual stuff I guess: traveling, seeing as much as possible, and I inhale books about geopolitics, globalization and energy. So if you like to discuss these kinds of things, I am your man.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

There are so many, but if I have to pick one: There is the famous Mount Rinjani volano on Lombok Island. Normally people hire some locals to carry their stuff and it takes 3 days to complete the hike. Me and 2 friends, completed it in 2 day, without carrying all our equipment by ourselves. It was one of the most exhausting things I have done - but totally worth it.
