About Me

ABOUT ME

Namastè! My name is Lorenzo, but someone calls me with my other name, Emanuele. I like to describe myself as an eclectic and a traveler. 'm quite a jack of all trades. My interests vary from physics and alternative energies to esoterism, from fantasy to sci-fi and fringe science. As a traveller, I love trekking, outdoor and survival. I am into holism and philosophic digressions. I like to draw and paint. I am also a creative cook.
I formally am a student of Environmental Engineering, but many of my activities are dedicated to volunteering. I am a member and / or co-founder of several environmental and cultural groups.I am in renewable energy, energy saving and self-production.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an Eclectic Archetype, wandering in this three-dimensional world in the guise of mortality, searching for knowledge to feed the Universal Consciousness. I am a consciousness incarnated in a physical body, nothing more, nothing less. Also to define myself as an "inhabitant of this planet" seems simplistic and refers only to my present condition. I am a being who likes to discover and learn about the Universe, but for our purposes, Earth is enough.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet and aknowledge colorful souls.
I love to meet new people, live extraordinary experiences, enhance my knowledge and have fun in unhortodox ways. II like having a glass of wine or a cup of tea with someone who picks my interest.

Interests

I am in sustainability, selfproduction, permaculture, solidarity economy and sustainable tourism.
I have an artistic and inquisitive mind, I'm quite good at drawing and cooking (quite good they say) and, expecially, am a lover of outdoors and creative activities. Mystery and Discovery are an integral part of my philosophy of life.
My philosophical ideas lead me searching for knowledge also into esoterism and fringe-science, although I have a very personal approach to both.
In my life I have studied Astronomy and Piano, I did scouting for a long time and I also spent a lot of time in digressions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been in Eritrea, in a humanitary mission to help people to produce Water from Air Humidity. Unfortunately the project went bad, and this was the hardest experience of my life in terms of Personal Growth.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to speak and speculate about Esoterism, Paganism, Misticism, Quantum Physics, New Society forms, Phylosophy, and Transhumanism.
I can help you with tips on your energy saving at home.
And... my Curry Chicken is usually appreciated!

(Tesla, Gurdjieff and Da Vinci inspired me somehow in my life path.)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook quite well and I am also quick to learn. Ask me anything if it needs to be done.
