About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world when you are young, and have a lot to tell when you are old.

ABOUT ME

I am a young man who wants to assist others, always willing to meet people from different walks of life and now have a lot to offer to couch surfers all over the world because I am now living in both Tamale(Northern Region) and Kintampo(Brong Ahafo Region) which is three hours drive from Tamale to Kintampo and kintampo is as interesting as Tamale talking about the Two Unique water falls that are found in Kintampo and the Centre of Ghana which is also located in Kintampo are places i think surfers should see on their visit and many other interesting places like the Wangara Chief palace are all unique places for surfers. This has made it possible for me to now host couch surfers both in Tamale and in Kintampo.
I also like hanging up with friends and I always like to learn something new.My hobbies are reading, listening to music traveling and hanging out with friends.
I'm a genuine,honest,simple,open-minded,trust worthy and sociable guy.My friends called me "Chairman" as my nickname.I'm about 5ft tall and i have average body size.I am a native of Tamale the Northern part of Ghana.I play football at my free time and i am good in playing it.I love reading, music, sports, movies and hanging out with friend and i have a very good reputation in my town. Also helping people is part of me.

PHILOSOPHY

I am very liberal, so I like to enjoy my freedom as I don't like to restrict others or being restricted. Freedom means for me having many possibilities and develop the personality in any way the human being like. Maybe the end of this way is the same, but the path isn't, so this is, why I think it is necessary to give everyone the freedom he needs. In addition this is the definition of tolerance in my eyes :)
As for religion I like every religion in the world and want to understand their philosophy and compare them to understand them better. In my eyes all religions have a lot of experience about human being and their way of thinking is guided by experience, which I respect and want to know more.I am open for everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: i like comedy, advantures and thrillers.
Music: all kind of music but most especially country side, old blues, hip hop, RnB and rock.
Books: i like the greek myths and novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was amazed to see a life Elephant and some interesting animals when i visited the Mole National Park in the Northern Region.
Another interesting thing i will always remember was when i went to Paga, the crocodile pound, when the crocodile was summoned i was able to sit on it and took some pictures with it.

Teach, Learn, Share

We have a traditional festival known as the Damba and Bugum festivals.
This are very interesting festivals and they are celebrated annually. There is display of traditional tactics and magical display and believe me,life here becomes more interesting during this period.Folktales are told during this period and alot are done like the cleansing of skin lands and libations are poured to the "gods" for the mercy and prosperity.

There are two types of chieftancy systems in Ghana, these are the enskinment and enstoolment.Enskinment means chiefs who seat on skins of animal like lion, elephants, this skins of wild animals portrays the greatness of the chiefs. The enskinment is only practice in the northern part of the country and that is where i live.

Enstoolment means chiefs who seats on stools and this are practice in the southern part of the country. For their stools,it has some affiliations which are associated with inheritance of their great forefathers who were chiefs.I known you may be surprised to hear that this sought of thing still happens in some parts of the world, but people here and my tribe finds it normal and necessary.

So i think i would teach whoever wants to learn my culture and tradition.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well I can share a lot with my hosts and I am now staying in both Tamale and Kintampo and Kintampo is also an interesting place to visit because there is a lot of tourist attraction places people can visit expecially the unique two water falls we have there, the chief palaces and other kind of interesting things as well.
