Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been living alone for close to 20 years. I want to experience sharing a common space with people and learning how to share space without feeling awkward. Also, Life is about people. If we take away the lens of gender, race, social status, religion etc...We are all people. I want to meet with people who do not have lenses but who have humanity. I want to meet people of other climes in their most comfortable environment and share a smile, à hug, à meal and an experience. In sum....Let's keep memories

I generally enjoy the little things and really want to make the best of every opportunity I get to meet with wonderful humans. I also love to watch movies. I've been busy all my life, I really just want to relax and enjoy little happy moments. I am happy to meet you, irrespective of gender but please I am not looking for sex. I would be happy to give love another shot and have an amazing relationship if it happens right, why not??🥰 Let's meet, let's dance, let's laugh, let's exchange... 🤗 I promise that with me, we can curate some Afrobeat dance choreography in 1 hour 😅🤣

Except in extreme situations, if I had a not too good experience with anyone, I would not write it. My personal experience with someone does not define who they are or make them bad people. I may not stay with them again, but I will not discourage others except it is really a bad situation eg sexual molestation, violence, etc.

I am limited in knowledge and very open to learning something you know and are happy to teach me. PLEASE TEACH ME. How to make your favourite meal or snack, an IT skill, a dance, a life lesson, a healthy practice, a relationship tip, a survival skill, public speaking skill... I mean anything. You have value, I want to gain some of it.

If you know you will travel, will have a cold attitude, or are dealing with issues, please don't message to offer à stay. It's nice to meet people, but putting surfers in last minute desperate or depressing situations is very vile.
A surfer is coming to you because they believe you have both the space and emotional well being at the time to accommodate them.
Surfers are not homeless people begging for shelter. I've had 3 different scénarios where people on their own free will offered to host me and ended up forgetting, made other plans without communicating early enough for me to have alternatives or acted cold for no reason when i arrived. Your house is not a hotel I agree, surfers are also not beggars... even à beggar deserves respect and dignité. Thank you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lol. ONE? LOL. I am an embodiment of amazing. However, one amazing thing I haven't done but hope to do is to give shower therapy and following it with cuddle therapy. I think this two are profound way of providing psychosocial support and relaxation except that people think it's sexual and its not meant to be.
