About Me
I actually had a couchsurfing account back in 2012 and I'm not sure what happened to it! I think it gave up on me after I started my 2 year Master's program.
Well....I'm back!
I am from the US, born in New York, lived in DC and Los Angeles. I'm very personable, but also keep to myself. I'm neat and respectful and am grateful for every couch surfer and host on this site. The backpacking/traveling community is super strong!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I bounce around between supporting small businesses/hostels and couch surfing. When I am financially stable enough to afford a "Mom and Pop" hostel, I book and support! When I need to consider my small travel savings and want a more cultural experience, I surf! Honestly both have been rewarding, but staying at a person's home and learning about the person's culture and discovering the local hang out stops has been the most exciting thing I've done!
