Hi! I am Jo, 25 and I share my life with a gorgeous boy cat named Albus!

I love books and Dr Who. Most of all, I love being the hostess - my dinner parties are famous! :D I love gaming, and am a bit of a computer addict/

PHILOSOPHY

I am inspired by everyday people who have been through trauma or personal tragedy, of any sort, and have gotten back up on their feet afterward and kept moving forward. Who have remained open and honest and used their challenges to develop compassion for others. Who despite the wounding words of others, have learned to listen to and respect their own truth. Who understand that life is not about counting your wins and losses, but simply about learning to love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After a lot of hosting, I finally got to couchsurf myself! :D Always had an amazing, positive time, and got to meet awesome people! What is not to like?

Interests

History - I love hearing people's life stories! So much inspiration, so much to learn from!

Literature - I love reading (from blogs to fiction etc!) and absorbing as much knowledge as I can. I am 100% certain that I will never know it all, but it is certainly fun to gain as much knowledge as I can in the meantime!

I am a bit of a geek - love gaming, and have a small computer addiction!

Love to sew - nothing more relaxing! At the moment, I do a lot of quilting!

Really enjoy music and comedy (particularly both at once!)- if you come here, you are certain to be introduced to the delights of Tim Minchin and others!

I love to share about the things I love and have learnt about along the path of life - if you stay for a little while, I guarantee that you will walk away with a book recommendation, or a music introduction, or even a blog recommendation. And so far, I have found the same thing in return - every single one of my couchsurfers have taught me something new and amazing - I love it!
