I am Priscilla. After a few years of studying and working, I finally decided to go on a travelling adventure in South America. I am now living and working as a nurse in Cayenne (french Guyana).

I am a friendly, joyfull and caring person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested about couchsurfing because I want to travel by meeting people, sharing experiences. I like to live with different people, that's why I always choose houses with 4 or more people to live in. When I travel, I enjoy sharing the local people's life, rythm and culture...

Interests

I am a nurse who is also travelling professionnaly. I've been interested into ethnology for several years, topic that I am trying to explore through my vocation by travelling and working here and there. Working with different people and taking care of patients from different cultures is very enriching for me.
I love dancing, especially dances from South America such as salsa, bachata, meringe, etc. I also like getting crazy with good electro music.
I sing a lot, even though I ain't a very good singer.
I play the tibetan singing bowls and am learning how to play the didjeridoo.
I like making things with my hands, grow plants and vegetables and fruits.
I am attentive to good energies and vibrations so I practice yoga.

In a matter of music, I've got eclectic tastes (reggae, jazz, blues, electro, funk, latin, african, Indian...) I am always happy to discover new kinds of music, new artists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit France (my comfort zone, family, friends and habits) and go live in it's forgotten land in Amazonia. Grow up and get strong to go discover the world by myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help with learning french and english. Or learning how to dance or making jewelery with macrame. I can also introduce you to yoga !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love sharing good meals, in a casual and friendly atmosphere : I can cook and bake a few nice recipes, including some elsatian specialties.

I like sharing interesting talks too, partying, playing cards, playing music, singing around the fire...
