Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the best parts of any trip usually come from the people, not the places. I’m not looking for a free bed—I’m looking for connection, contrast, and perspective.

Staying with locals shifts everything. I believe I learn more in a night on a stranger’s couch than a week in a hotel.
