ABOUT ME

Well, what to say... I love going to other countries and getting to know their culture, their people. i am recently graduated from law school, and now i am about to start a masters in human rights and international law, which is my passion! i also studied Human Sciences in Brazil, such as politics, sociology and anthropology, but that degree i didn't finish.. I'm really interested in travelling as much as i can in my life, and meeting as many different people as possible.
When I travel I'm not really big into the crowded touristic places, and i think i share that feeling with most of the couchsurfers. Just rather hang out where the locals go, so that I can get really into the city.. i guess this website offers a great opportunity for that!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well, since i heard about the project i tell everybody about it!! it's very nice if you really want to know the culture from the place, and if you wanna meet great people from all over the world. I personally find it amazing, because everything is turning to be about money in the society we live in nowadays, and this project gives you opportunity to be around people that actually wants to know you! so I already donated money to the project, and i try to incentivate other people to do the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My mother always received friends at her house, and when they needed they'd live there for a while. So since im a little kid I've been having that kind of experience! other than that, i've slept in so many couches that i dont even know how to start!!
I also already received a couchsurfer last year, and i guess I could say it was at least an interesting experience..

Musik, Filme und Bücher

movies: mr. nobody and alice in wonderland are my favorites.

music: Though I like all kinds of music, i could say Blues is my favorite style so far.

books: love George Orwell, Marx and Engels.. in the last couple of years i'vs gotten really addicted to the lost american generation, like burroughs, kerouack and such. I am, though, the hugest fan of Anaïs Nin one can ever meet!!!!

But i also like to read overall, not so hard to please me with books :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

the most beautiful things i've seen are the beaches in my country, the mountains in canada, and the eiffel tower shining at night, crossing the seine river by metro...
I JUST LOVED BRETAGNE/BRITAIN, in France... it was just awesome to see the sunset in those beautiful beaches...

I think the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me was to discover that we're so so so so tiny in this universe, that really, nothing is real and nothing really matters. thats why everybody should make the most out of their lives. that was my biggest discover!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

thats exactly what i'm willing to do! teach, learn and share knowledge about anything, really... it's always nice to learn things, even if their not exactly your primer area of interest.. so i think, basically everything is worth learning...
and me, i know some stuff from the areas i'm interested in, and i could share and have nice discussions with whoever wants to talk about it, also about my country, my culture, the way-of-life, and experiences abroad. Even opposite perspectives from mine are always welcome :)
