Music, Movies, and Books

The Monty python series, Shrek (1&2), LOTR, Choke, Pineapple express, 2001, Movies by David Cronenberg, Tarantino, Kubrick, Singer, Coppola amongst many, many others.

The Boob tube used to be fun before the internet,now it's a sideshow really. Star Trek TNG, House, Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, Southpark, Stargate SG 1 (especially that stoic Jaffa mannequin, Teal'C), Who's line is it anyway, Tony Bourdain's no reservations and most shows on the nature and science channels are things I still turn the idiot box on for. In addition I watch a lot of stand up, with George Carlin being my all time fav.

I listen to all genres of music, though I am currently partial to progressive rock and Melodic Death Metal. Artists I like include Gordian Knot, Riverside, Agalloch, Tool, Pearl Jam, Ulver, The Shins, Porcupine Tree, Arch Enemy, Katatonia, Insomnium, My Dying Bride, Dark Tranquility, Dire Straits, Led Zep, Iron Butterfly, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Mozart, Beethoven, Verdi, Trance on the whole, amongst many many many more.

I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy fiction. Far too many to be named here. I also like Wodehouse, Ludlum, Penrose, Aldous Huxley, Nietzsche, Burroughs, Kenneth Anderson and Richard Dawkins. Fairly eclectic :D.
