About Me
I was born in Samara (Russia), but at the age of 24 I moved to St Petersburg (after a short visit there I just realized that I cannot live anywhere else anymore). After 4 amazing years in St Pete I decided to try something new and moved to Poland. I'm still about to explore this beautiful country and people here.
I'm trying to spend as much time as possible traveling around the world, and as of now, my favorite countries are Iceland, Nepal, Vietnam and Brazil.
At some point I'd love to move to South East Asia to experience not just traveling but the real life there.
I do love partying and going out for a drink, so I'm always up for it with my guests. Nightlife in Katowice is surprisingly good :)
P. S. As any other person who does couchsurfing not just to save money on accommodation, I appreciate personal requests. Please write why you want to stay with me or at least express that you read my profile :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think I can't even choose what I love most - to host or to be hosted. Being a host gives you a great opportunity to make someone's stay and experience in a city brighter, deeper, more profound and more convenient in terms of practical advice.
Being a guest is fascinating as you focus yourself on a new person as well as a new place and there's so much to discover about both of them.
I enjoy couchsurfing either if it's just a conversation or a long lasting friendship.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to loads of music. I think you can get my music taste from my top 5 best gigs I've been to: Sigur Ros, Alt-j, The Chemical Brothers, Jamie XX, Massive Attack.
There are only 2 bands left that I need to see before I die - Glass Animals and Portishead.
At the same time I do love good electronic music such as Flume, Chet Faker, Rustie, ODESZA etc
Music festivals are my special love because of the experience of living in a tent, listening to the favorite bands every day and meeting people who share your interests.
I used to watch a lot of movies, my favorites still are by Terry Gilliam, Lars Von Trier, Gus Van Sant, Darren Aronofsky, Roman Polanski, Guillermo Del Toro. Sadly (or not) I switched to TV shows when I realized that as of now they became a new form of art. The latest I was astonished with are Sense8 and The Stranger Things.
I particularly enjoy when people recommend something, so please do it (I'll write it down :)
I love Sergey Dovlatov's books. Stoner by John Williams made me cry this year.
