Traveling is an addiction that I have little interest in curing!

I am an educator in my soul as well as by profession. I love teaching kids most of all, but also sharing what I teach with adults. My wife & I own and operate a fully online American school from our home. This means that we may have work obligations while hosting, but we'll be clear about any conflicts and always plan the best possible way.

Happiness is a choice; I have made mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted more than I've surfed but have enjoyed both tremendously. Coffee and drinks with many in a variety of places--a nice way to use CS while traveling for work. Most recently surfed in Brazil during the World Cup. I receive surfers at my home as wife & work allow.

Interests

Travel, Languages, Sports (soccer and horse racing primarily), Dancing! In Czech, I've learned to love mushroom hunting and canoeing on the local river, too.

I love books but have given in to the challenges/expense of acquiring English language books abroad. If you have spare books, I'd happily give them a new home!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far I have ridden in a rodeo, surfed on 2 meter waves, bungee jumped, hang glided, hunted ´paca´ with a blowgun in the Amazon and danced Salsa in 22 countries. Life is good.
