About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live my life, rather than watch it pass me by...
ABOUT ME
British ex-pat, been living in Salvador, Brazil for 6 years now. Came to Brazil knowing just two words of Portuguese "cerveja" and "obrigado" (the traveller's survival kit hehehe). I now speak Portuguese "more-or-less".
I teach English privately, which keeps the wolf from the door.
Pretty well-travelled (see my list of countries visited), I love meeting people from all countries and sharing cultural experiences.
Writing a novel at the moment. It's quite a challenge. It'll be great if it ever gets published, better still becomes a film..... I can dream can't I? hehehe

PHILOSOPHY
Life is for living, not for watching.
Life is too short to just let it happen to you. Sure you'll make mistakes, sometimes BIG ones, but at least you're living your life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped out of a perfectly good aircraft at 12,000 feet (attached to an instructor of course), did 30 second freefall, then parachuted to the ground at Lake Taupo, New Zealand.
BTW I have a fear of heights! hehehe
Was disappointed when I saw the Grand Canyon - hiking on Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand eclipsed it!
Most beautiful building I've ever seen? The Taj Mahal...perhaps a cliché answer but it really is the number one!
