ABOUT ME

I'm an audiophile, writer, horologist, and part-time kindergarten teacher. Back when I still resided in the States, I performed guitar in a pop-punk band called 'Eve of Triumph.' I've since transitioned to playing fingerstyle and acoustic rock, but I never neglect my ukulele, which has stuck with me through some incredible journeys.

I'm fairly easy to get along with. Most people would describe me as being both talkative and opinionated, but I tend to avoid unnecessary arguments. Life's too short to spend your time drowning in negativity.

PHILOSOPHY

Although I'm an atheist, I have many deep spiritual beliefs. I believe it's important to take a vacation from the mass delusion we all indulge in regularly; to open our eyes and feel a connection with the Earth and its place in the cosmos.

I enjoy making new friends from different parts of the globe, showing people around my city, and listening to travel experiences and stories of personal growth.

WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING

I hope to meet new friends and have interesting discussions. I mostly stay in hotels while traveling, but I'd love to learn more about different cultures, foods, and beliefs.

Apart from what you've already read, it might be interesting to learn that my OCD often leads me to splurging on unnecessary items, as I quickly form new obsessions.

Recently, I've begun collecting various rocks and crystals for no reason other than to admire their aesthetic traits.

I guess there are far worse vices to be locked into.

I will always remember the way that Saipan looked upon my first arrival. Such a tiny, beautiful mass of land in the middle of nowhere...

The sky was clear with just a light, powdery shade of blue -- interrupted only occasionally by the presence of enormous, towering clouds which lay atop the crystal clear water of the Pacific.
