Overview
About Me
Student, geek, artist. Comic book and sci-fi lover.
Born and raised in Ukhta, small town in the North of Russia.
Since 2010 live and study in Syktyvkar, another small town in the North of Russia.
I really love to be with people, to make interesting projects with my friends, to achieve new results in everyday life.
The last year I have worked as a designer (and a little as a journalist and photographer) at the local university. So now I'm starting to be interested in photography.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Now I study marketing in the north on Norway and it's my very first time in Europe. I really want to travel across European countries, become familiar with foreign cultures, meet new people and share with them my knowledge and positive mood.
So I think that Couchsurfing is the best tool to have a good time while travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last October, together with my friends we organised the very first comics convention in our region (Komi Republic) and named it "Syr-con" (Short from "Syktyvkar convention). Also "Syr" means "cheese" in Russian, so we put the lovely mouse on our logo. It was really amazing to see that a lot of people love comics, fiction, videogames, cartoons and tv-series in our city. Around 500 people came to our geek-party in the local library. After then we did one more festival in May, but it was more "light". You can see the pictures in my profile. I'm really proud of this work.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach my new friends a lot about Russian culture, history and modern life. It's always very interesting to find some differences between countries (and sometimes these differences are huge). And, of course, I can teach you Russian language a little. Life stories, small and deep talks about movies and tv-shows, geek-culture, boardgames evenings and movie nights - all is included ;)
