Overview
About Me
I am a philosopher so this kind of question is never an easy one... but i think i do the shy intellectual type with occasional bursts of socializing behavior and so on...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After a stunt in Iran I started to use it. Is sometimes a good way to meet random people.
Interests
I have been travelling for the past 7 years... the past 4 years or so were spent on the road and i think this is pretty much my main interest. I studied philosophy (academic philosophy is very different from normal life questioning) and i wrote both my dissertations (one about luck in life and one about cognition in ethics) on the road too. To get money to spend in gasoline (planes, buses and so on) I work in a computer science department contributing to figure out how to program and simulate ethical features.

Music, Movies, and Books
Im reading Kapuscinski books. Totally recommend. Favorites? Bruce Chatwin's Songlines and Gerard Durell's Corfu series are there together with some Aristotle, Proust, Tolstoy and a lot more. I never know how to answer the classic which is your favorite philosophers. But Bernard Williams is my most recent central figure.
I like blockbusters. To quote Godard "Cinema is not an art. Cinema has no history". So to hell with brain movies.
