About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The curious downside to being happily unmarried is the amount of time it gives one to explore oneself...I plan to explore how my digestive system reacts to multiple geographies, multiple cuisines & multiple party-types! Promise fun in return for help!
ABOUT ME
I'm that chap who attends the next party in the hope of a good conversation, or even some fresh gossip, for that matter. In general, I like to keep life uncomplicated (with the exception of my choice in women, which I can't totally help!), and love entertaining people. Cliched as it sounds, I do actually enjoy meeting people from new places, solely for aforesaid reason (good conversation). My interests tend to be governed by the flow of the moment - suffice to say, I enjoy discussing outdoor sports & geo-politics as much as the menstrual cycle of the Siberian caribou (replace it with the surface temperature of red dwarf stars, if you actually do know abt that menstrual cycle!). I love to travel, partly in search of fresh contexts for conversation, but also for my love of food.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a libertarian by philosophy, and a reveler by nature. Over time, I have started veering towards the idea that my primary purpose in life is to help people have fun. Mission: to live a life less serious!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To begin with, I intend to host quite actively. Hopefully, the relationships I build in the process will guide where I travel next to. In any case, if I cant travel to a place, no reason I cant learn about it from my visitors!
Interests
As said before, my interests tend to be governed by the flow of the moment and are quite varied (without trying to boast!!). I like movies across languages & genres (currently, hooked on Wong Kar Wai & Federico Fellini), play tennis regularly (albeit amateurish-ly), am interested in all kinds of outdoor sports and my interest in reading is mostly non-fiction in the areas of physics, philospohy and finance & economics. I tend to watch TV solely for the sports channels, so my knowledge of soaps & reality shows is next to nothing. I end up hanging out with friends practically all nights of the week when in town and love lolling around beaches when I'm traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ummm...it's hard to single out such experiences in life...maybe I'll put this up once I have thought about it longer.

I have lived in Mumbai for a large part of my life, and it's become something of a passion for me. If you're looking for offbeat but real-Mumbai experiences, maybe I could help.
