About Me

CURRENT MISSION

1. Research humanity, 2. TAKE OVER THE WORLD! Puuhahahahaha

ABOUT ME

Imagine the smartest, coolest, most awesome-est person in the world. Now imagine someone 115% better.
That was me as an embryo, and I've only become awesomer since! :P

Seriously though. Born in Israel, but spent my highschool years in Manhattan studying for an IB diploma. Now starting Cognitive sciences in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

I find everything in life interesting, and I'm vary passionate about most things. I love meeting and talking to new people, eating good food, listening to good music, getting slightly drunk - you know, hedonistically enjoying life :D

PHILOSOPHY

Every person has a narrative, and each is interesting in it's own right. But what it is that makes us human isn't the story itself, but rather that spark of brilliance, that passion, that "magic" that is interwoven between the chapters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently only surfing, but once I move into a flat I'm Jerusalem I'll definitely be hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed with some great people (and had some weird (good weird) experiences). Met a metric ton of the craziest, awesomest people in CS meetings.

And soon (once I get a flat), hosting!

Interests

Everything?

Seriously, anything from physics to philosophy to neurology to musicology to psychology et cetera ad infinitum. I don't remember anything I've encountered and didn't find interesting, from one aspect or another.

As far as actual interests I'm pursuing, that would be flute playing, practicing martial arts (though not seriously) and learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

Man, this is hard.

Movies: Top Hat, American in Paris, Casablanca, Mel Brooks, Tarantino, Jackie Chan (old Hong-Kong stuff), Kurasawa, Miyazaki (and other Ghibili), any movie that Morricone made the soundtrack for, Don Juan DeMarco, the Fisher King, Little shop of Horrors, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (Original with Gene Wilder), and oh so many more I lost count.

Music: Rock (and variation), Jazz (mostly bebop, but also fusion/acid/etc), some classical. Lately I've also been more into 90s rap, electronic (but usually not the stuff played at clubs), world music, OST music, and basically anything good :D

Books: Mostly Science Fiction (HEINLEIN!, Asimov, C. Clark, Card (though I hate his guts), etc), fantasy, steam-punk, cyberpunk. I also enjoy some of the American classics (Fitzgerald among others), some world literature (Les Cerfs-volants, Saramgo, etc), and random others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I counted till infinity. TWICE!

Oh wait I'm not Chuck Norris, nvm :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Hebrew/English?
All kinds of random (and probably useless) information.

As far as learning - if someone is willing to teach, I'd learn.
