I love talking with people, getting to hear their stories. I think i'm lucky that i'm part of this world as a human being and not a fly on the wall. I value community, family and friendship very much. I'm all about being free and loving as much as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Love God and love people... that's it; i don't care what your faith is, how much money you have, what you do or don't have, what you look like, smell like, I don't care about anything else besides what's in your heart and mind.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first CouchSurfing experience in October of '10. I am hooked.

Interests

Interested in anything that is out of the ordinary, over looked, not thought of. I really enjoy learning about different cultures. I love a simple conversation with people while enjoying a beer or doobie. I also really enjoy art, in all it's forms. Meeting new people and cultivating relationships are my real passions. I want to meet everyone I can to hear their stories. I know for a fact that we can learn a lot of things by exchanging our stories. I only want to learn, meet, teach, travel, venture, and live.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm just a fan of a good beat. My favorite genres of music are punk/oi!/powerviolence/hardcore punk, ska, raggae, and hip-hop; anything with a good groove. But I can't exclude any other types of music either. Music is music no matter what its called, and if I can find at least one thing I like about a song, i'll listen to it. I'm very much attracted to the vocals that accompany music. When it comes to music, I only ask that the artist puts his/her heart and soul into what they do--put all your thoughts, emotions, into what they do and whether or not I like it, I will appreciate it entirely. Music should always equal honesty.

My favorite movies include Gerry, Sid and Nancy, Elephant, Windy and Lucy, A Bronx Tale, In This Tea, 127 Hours, Into The Wild, Ghost World, Lucky Number Sleven, Chaos Theory... the list goes on.

As far as books go, I enjoy biographies, fiction work, or anything I can learn from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was so liberating traveling from San Jose, CA to Bend, OR with gas money to get there but not knowing how we were going to get back.
