About Me
Hi,
I was born and raised in India, and have been living in Amsterdam for an amazing job at Booking.com, a company inspiring you, me, and everyone else to travel. I love reading, learning new things.
Meeting new people is an interesting prospect as I believe we can learn something from everyone. It's the same reason I'm hosting my place to surfers!
Please read the house rules before sending me a request.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I said above, I love meeting new people. Added to that, it opens up one extra opportunity to travel and find a new buddy :)
Interests
My interests keep changing and but the basic idea is the same, I love learning new things. Some of them are:
Travelling - I travelled a lot in the first half of 2018 and not so much in the second one. I'd like to resume my travelling this year.
Reading - I was reading before I was 2, thanks to my mum. :) Now I try to read at least one book per month. It's less compared to other avid readers because I'm occupied in 10s of other things at any moment.
Learning new things - This is what hinders me from reading (or doing anything else) all the time. I'm juggling between reading, photography, travelling, job, and learning languages, trading, economics and photography.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - From the types which your grandmother will love, to the ones that might give her a heart attack.
Movies - Not really a movie person but I'm trying to complete the IMDB top 250 movies. Currently 80/250.
Books - http://bit.do/pratyushbooks
Most fav ones: Harry Potter, The Tale of two cities, A thousand splendid suns.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I read the entire The Lord of the Rings series in a week, during my semester end exams in university. :D
I could read newspapers before I was 3.
