CURRENT MISSION
Meet everyone...
ABOUT ME
I am a doctor, and recently started work as a real attending. Now people below me do my scut work for me, which is sweet. Plus, I get my own office, complete with magic marker name placard, and my own secretary, who diligently spends all her day playing solitaire.
When not working, I like to travel - recently I "worked" at a hospital in Korea, where i mostly ate kalbi and drank soju, but also assisted in the occasional procedure. I also fly around the world giving lectures on really complicated-sounding topics like "yttrium-90 embolization". These are generally well-received, either because the audience is very polite, or doesn't understand English.
I love sports, especially ones where you can drink and humiliate your friends, like bocce. Great game. On weekends I go out to the beach, where my friend and I look for the shortest, fattest 2-man team we can find, and then dominate them at beach volleyball.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in karma - do good to others, and good will come to you.
"Don't take life too seriously... you'll never get out alive"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've traveled quite a bit, especially when I had no money, and had great experiences thanks to the people I met. Now that I have a decent place, I occasionally host and look forward to meeting cool people from all over.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couch-surfed in Brazil, it was great! But most of my traveling is for medical conferences nowadays, so I usually stay at whatever overpriced hotel is hosting, out of convenience.
Interests
Sports of all kinds, especially basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, and pool. Reading anything I can get my hands on. Poker (I am kind of obsessed and will be playing in the WSOP this summer). UFC. Las Vegas. International travel.
