Overview
About Me
I'm terrible at describing myself, but ok, i'll try.
I'm a brazilian girl, exchange student in Paris. This is my first experience abroad and I can only say it's been life changing.
Besides that: I'm a little shy and quiet, but after 5 minutes in a conversation I start to get confortable and to open myself. I love history, art, music and cinema (ok, who doesn't say this in a profile?). I'm persistent, I try hard to get the things I want... Oh, and my favorite flavour of ice-cream is pistachio.
If you're in to astrology: sun in virgo, moon in sagittarius, and I think it's enough for now. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, it's my first time in Europe and I want to travel as much as I can. I didn't know couchsurfing before and I found it amazing. To know people that live in a place is definetly the best way you have to really knowing it. Not only because they always know which is "the best bar", but because of those day-to-day things, habits, curiosities. Couchsurfing is a way to truly experience a different culture, and that's what fascinates me.
Interests
Right now, I'm interested in learning how to cook.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Brazilian popular music: Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Vinicius de Moraes, Elis Regina... From samba, I love Clara Nunes. I also like Los Hermanos, Céu, Tulipa Ruiz.
Beyond that, I like some folk rock... and I have a particular taste for those old cheesy songs from the 70's, because they remind me of my father (and they are so good to dance).
Movies:
Almost all movies directed by Richard Linklater, a few from Woody Allen, Medianeras, Into the Wild, etc.
Books:
Celilia Meireles, Carlos Drummond de Andrade, Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
