I love stories, not just written ones, but the ones people tell.

More than that I love the stories that people live and the ones they make by being adventurous, interesting, or just plain weird.

I'm looking to make my life into a story that people will want to hear, but more than that, I want to make my life into a story people want to be a part of.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to host and show people around if they're game. So far, I've had some wonderful folks come by.

I've also done a fair bit of surfing myself, it's pretty damned fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived on a couch at a housing cooperative and met many great people; and I've couch surfed with friends in different Canadian cities as well as in Iceland, Norway, and Scotland.

I also like to catch people as they're passing through my home town. Meeting wayward travelers, of which I am sometimes one, is often the most fun I can have.

兴趣

Considering that I like to learn more and more about everything I can, my interests are pretty broad.

At the moment, though, I'm reading a lot about boats.

I once commanded a room full of strangers with a booming voice.
It was glorious to watch a sea of heads turn and meet my gaze expectantly, all of them waiting for my next words.

I don't really have anything practical for this bit. My only thing I can really share is my perspective and insight and hope that people can use it in some way for a sort of intellectual triangulation.

Oh, and I'm pretentious, apparently.
