ABOUT ME

*My other profile, while I was living in NY, is EPoulain, in case you need references. Thanks.

I'm a night owl, love to sleep on Sundays, like to rollerblade and ice-skate, I'm a film buff, I always wanted to study filmmaking but it had never happened (yet). I have a B.A. in Art History and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science, at Pratt Institute, Manhattan. Lived in NY for almost 4 years (I was born and raised in Mexico City). I'm short and look very young. I'm friendly, sometimes I'm shy, sometimes I'm outgoing, I think I have a strange personality because you never know (not even me) what to expect. I like things to be perfect, I plan every move and everything I do, but at the same time I'm very spontaneous. I usually get what I want because I never give up, I'm very stubborn. I'm very, very organized; I'm obsessed that my things have to be in alphabetical order. I also love to put things in order and make lists and schedules. Give me a messy room to fix and I would be the happiest person on Earth! That's why I specialized in archiving and cataloging. And planning to become be a professional closet organizer as well. Although I've been trying to be more relax about this and I'm proving to myself how do I survive in this world without being so organized. So far, so good. I care a lot about the small details of life. I have a very ecclectic taste. I can be very creative, I like to watch people. I'm very curious and nosy. I don't like to think about the future, I just live each day without worrying about tomorrow. Everything I like and do is with passion. I want to eat the world in one bite. I love to travel. I'm allergic to cats and I've never had a dog, but I want to have one eventually. That's how I am so.... LIFE IS TOO SHORT, EAT DESSERT FIRST!

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others like you want to be treated.
Life is too short...eat dessert first.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first approach to CS was in Amsterdam. I met great people there and I became a fan of the CS thing. My whole travel experience changed for the best. I usually travel by myself and that stopped me to go some places, but I know there's always nice people around the world to be friends with, to talk and share a drink or go to a party. I have met and hosted some really nice people in NY and met some other really cool people in Mexico City. I love it and it has been one of the best decisions to be part of this community. I did a roatrip from Mexico City all the way to Vancouver, Canada. I was on the road for 2 months and it was the first time I've been hosted and was the best experience ever. I'm so grateful with all the people I've met during my trip.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Roadtrip from Mexico City all the way to Quebec, Canada. Roadtrip by myself from Mexico City to the USA West Coast and all the way up to Vancouver and Whistler. Loved the food from Spain, especially from my grandma's kitchen, made with the most fresh ingredients. The surrealist gardens in Xilitla. Gaudi's architecture in Barcelona. Salvador Dali's house in Cadaques. Macchu Picchu was a place I will never forget and I want to go back. NY always fascinates me. Amsterdam was wonderful and I fell in love with that city. Berlin was impressive and full of history. Iceland was amazing. The best food in Mexico was in Oaxaca. And obviously Mexico City will always be my favorite city ever.
