One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting on some steps one night in Lisbon, Portugal sipping wine with great friends listening to an amazing duo (she sang while he played guitar) performing for some diners. Then along comes a street busker who drowns out their music with some of his own loud but happy piano-accordian and vocals. It seemed intrusive, how he cut the duo off and the diners were definitely peeved. But then, as the busker finished and had collected money from the public, he walked over to the duo, gave them a huge smile, shook their hands and gave them some of the money he had just collected. He happily strode off humming a happy tune. There was a sense of artist cooperation that was really quite beautiful.
