Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I post on message boards, and hopefully I will meet people this way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was just staying at my friend's place in Denmark at the end of Jan/Feb. It was great, my friend's boyfriend was an Italian cook, and he made us this fabulous food and we drank expensive wine... something I will NEVER forget!

Of course I'm not expecting this kind of hospitality from anyone ;) But cool people and a safe place to sleep is very welcome. I am a very good guest, I will help you wash dishes, clean up after myself, cook a meal here and there, and chip in to keep things running.

Interests

I love music! And I love meeting new people and hearing people's stories, and relating my own. I'm a great listener and a good friend. I like the German language, and I would like to improve my skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical music, classic rock (QUEEN)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to India on a meditation pilgrimage with 50,000 people from all over the world. It was intense.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can bring music into any home, and I am from NY! I can tell you about NY living! I'll start off by saying it's expensive and sometimes not worth it. :(

But other times, I get such a charge out of walking the streets, it is so energizing to see everything going on around me! The friendships I make in NY are great, they are unlike any friends I have in other places. My favorite places to go in New York are Carnegie Hall, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Central Park, and Lincoln Center! I love the art and cultural opportunities and exhibitions that New York has to offer.

I hope to see Germany, especially Berlin and Hamburg. Many of my musician friends have told me that Berlin is the best city in the world! Well, I'd have to compare it to New York! Cat fight!
