About Me

2024 travel plans:
Tassie - Feb/March
NT - May
Carribean - June+

I'm friendly, easy-going and like to meet new people and love to have fun! My place is on the beach and I being near the ocean.

I'm from Tasmania originally and lived in QLD for about 10years

I work as a tour guide for www.facebook.com/GCRainforestTours feel free to 'like' the page, ask if I have any space on an up coming tour, if there is empty seats you can come for close to free, I'll add some links below if you want to check it out.

I can only host last minute requests now. I don't have a fixed roster and I travel around a lot, so feel free to ask whenever but unless it's an amazing request and I know I'll be home, I probably won't accept it. I've got a permanent housemates now and it's only a small apartment, so there isn't much space but (at the moment the is an empty room) you can choose between the floor in my room or the couch. Also, I get a lot of requests, you'll have a better chance of being hosted if your request stands out and isn't clearly just a copy and paste.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and hearing about different cultures and getting inspiration for my own travels. Also, I like helping people get the best experience out of their travels.

When I'm traveling I find it much more fulfilling to stay with a local rather than a hotel or a hostel and always enjoy my time more.

As a host I love sharing my tips of things to do locally, in QLD, Tassie or wherever and sharing travel stories.

I am currently trying really hard to learn and improve my Spanish! If you want to language swap with English, I'd love to meet up!

Had a beer on every continent
Won a pie eating competition
Went to a wedding in India
Highest peak in a few countries
Watched NBA, MLB, NHL, AFL, Wimbledon and the Ashes live

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to improve my foreign languages. I'm currently trying to improve my comprehension in Spanish (si tu hablas Español, escríbeme en Español primero por favor).
I tried to learn Swedish about 5yrs ago, so I like to practice that too.

I can teach any guests English if they need any help! Particularly 'Aussie Slang'! :P

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a great chef (well, I think so anyway :p)!
So I could cook you some meals, bring some beer/wine and give you any tips on Australia, and of course a couch if you ever visit :)
