À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Travelling the world, breaking one penny jar at a time! - (update 2016 - This is still pretty much my motto! I'm still squirrelling away my pennies to travel; and I love it!)
ABOUT ME
Hello! In a nutshell I'm an outgoing, laidback, adventurous, crazy lass who is up for laughs, with new friends in a new place and looking for a good time! Having been brought up in Asia, I'm currently living in Edinburgh but will be looking to move to Copenhagen in the summer. We loved it so much when we went there over Christmas last year and can't wait to see what adventures lie for us there!
PHILOSOPHY
Jack of all trades, master of none. I'm so doomed.
When I feel sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story.
Before you criticise someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you do criticise them, you'll be a mile away and have their shoes.
Bitter people aren't glass half full or glass half empty people. To their minds, some malicious bastard has drunk the other half of their glass.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've attended a gathering in Kuching, hosted one guy in my flat, and on my travels in the UK I've been lucky enough to stay in some amazing places (have you seen a boat house before?!) all thanks to the good generosity of mankind - which is within all of us, and CS is the platform for that.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Super awesome! Chris, who is the guy I hosted at my flat in Malaysia hooked me up with his friend in Brighton who lives on a boat, who cooked us up a huge English feast and introduced us to HIS friends and it's just a jolly match up of happy people, and one hell of a good night full of laughs - my favourite type! Give it a go peeps, there's no closed doors here!
Centres d'intérêt
I love going out and having a good laugh with friends, watching movies, drinking coffee (I don't drink alcohol much) and doing extreme sports. I also love board games, the quirkier the better!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Kill Bill, The BBC's Pride and Prejudice, most Disney or Pixar movies, anything with Hillary Swank in it, I mostly listen to the radio for music, not that picky but I do love Katy Perry and am thoroughly jealous of Adele, for books I love Game of Thrones and Harry Potter, just to name a few.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
#1 Spontaneously driving 24 hours non-stop to Cairns with my bestie in uni for a 3 night stay, bungy jumping and diving in the Great Barrier Reef. It was the craziest thing either of us have ever done, but it was so worth it! Now that I've moved to Scotland, am just waiting to see the most spectacular natural show in the world - the Northern Lights!!
#2 Met my dad and spent my 26th birthday with him, having not known him since I was 6 months old. And yes, there were nerves and reservations but needless to say it was all unnecessary. We are so alike, it's like I've known him forever :)
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I can teach people how to make excellent coffee! All you need to bring is the espresso machine, grinders, milk jugs, the coffee beans and milk and we might just make a party of it. Lol! Once I'm settled I hope to have the machine at home, but yes I can do coffee :)
I also play the piano and guitar (although rather ill) I could teach you some tunes.
