ABOUT ME

I'm a former student at Vanderbilt U. in Nashville who studied U.S. history, anthropology, and Italian. Now I'm filling in the time before grad school and real life with internships and the like.

My interests are pretty eclectic, but revolve mainly around music, books, knitting, and letterboxing. Have you ever met a mild-mannered knitter with a penchant for 70s shock rock? ...Would you like to?
It's not as bad as it sounds.

Musically speaking, I love The Beatles, Alice Cooper, Coldplay, Kiss, Hank Williams, Donovan, John Denver, Led Zeppelin, Jim Croce, Woody Guthrie, the Monkees, Oasis, Bob Dylan, etc.

Books, I love: Walden, The Prophet, Little Women, Yevgeny Onegin, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Confessions of Georgia Nicolson, The Broke Diaries, The Virgin Suicides, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Color Purple, Confederates in the Attic.

*Although I also once saw a guy on a highway driving his motorcycle while standing on the seat.

My skills are various and sundry, but unfortunately don't always fall into the category of real life skills. However, if you want to learn to knit, make French toast, or unravel the public transportation system of Oklahoma, I'd love to help.
