Overview
About Me
Emergency Medicine Registrar with interest in teaching and acute medicine (in work).
Like to pootle round on the bicycle, and (when I have the energy) pretend to run half marathons (outside of work.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet people, swap ideas. Actually keener on hosting then staying, is that weird?
Interests
Reading sci-fi, fantasy, classics. Listening to rock, metal and the occasional bit of pop music. Cooking, especially Chinesey food.
Trying to get my 10k time down (unsuccessfully).
Just learnt to scuba dive.
I bought a Ukulele. Not certain whether this is a good thing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies? Anything in 3D and IMAX! (Shuts down all higher critical brain functions).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The awesome glow worm caves at Abbey Caves, Whangarei, New Zealand - don't know why more people don't go!
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to meet other medics, medical students, or those wanting to get into medical school to share experiences. Could also teach you how to play up to 3 chords on the guitar, some scales on the piano or show you how to stir fry just about anything you find in the cupboard.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Costa Rica, Malaysia, Morocco, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
New Zealand, United Kingdom
