CURRENT MISSION
Live, learn, enjoy.
ABOUT ME
I'm a born-and-raised Seattleite, and I love this city and surrounding area. I recently graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with degrees in History and Economics. I'm now working as a data analyst while I take a bit of a breather before (likely) returning to graduate school in the future. I loved school and can't wait to return, but in the meantime I spend a great deal of time reading and learning about a very wide variety of topics ranging from politics, economics, and sociology to science, math, and technology. I love traveling, and I hope to do a great deal of it in the coming years.
PHILOSOPHY
You can make yourself happy, or you can make yourself sad. The choice is up to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am very open to hosting couchsurfers in Seattle when I can, and I hope to meet many couchsurfers in many places in my future travels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
From my experience, couchsurfers come from an exceptionally diverse and interesting community. I'm fascinated by the stories and experiences people have to share, wherever they may be from.
Interests
True to Pacific Northwest culture, I'm a big outdoors enthusiast and love to spend my time biking, hiking, climbing, and camping around the area. My new found hobby is mountaineering and alpine climbing, and while I still have a lot to learn I'm working on it and loving every minute of it.
Additionally, I'm very into music (I play/played trumpet for 11+ years), craft beer, reading, and discussing/debating/arguing the many facets of life, the universe, and everything.
