About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning and sharing.

ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Julianna, a young Hungarian and European, who is eager to see and do all there is. I'm a cultural freak, I enjoy meeting the differences and discovering that all is connected somehow. Typically, I'm always moving around, very active in whatever I'm involved in, trying to give the best of me for the benefit of myself and my environment. I'm passionate about music, sports (eg. swimming, cycling, dancing), literature and people. What I enjoy the most is to talk and listen to people, because everyone is a whole new world worth discovering!

PHILOSOPHY

TO INSPIRE AND TO GET INSPIRED.
"I want to be all I'm capable of being!" (by Catherine Mansfield)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My CS experience consisted of hosting so far. By this, I have met the most inspiring and fascinating people, therefore I'm very grateful for this opportunity. Now, I'm about to try the other side as well, and hoping to gain as many positive experiences as I got by hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really enjoy hosting people, showing them around my cities (Budapest and Szeged). I make sure I know what the Surfer might be interested in particularly and organize sightseeing and cultural programs accordingly. Also, I find pleasure cooking some national food, or teaching the language somewhat. The golden moment usually is when we engage in a philosophical conversation while sipping some fine wine or a nice cup of coffee!

Interests

I'm a really curious person, therefore I'm open to any kind of new experience or perspectives. To list some of my special interests I'd mention psychology, globalisation, international politics, culture, music, dancing, arts, technology and so on :)

Other others: Chaykovskiy, Shostakovich, Chopin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm fortunate enough not to be able to mention one amazing thing because there are so many that happenned to me. They are all connected in the experience of unity, that wherever on Earth I happenned to be I have always find people walking along the same journey as me. The most amazing thing probably is that we are all pursuing our own destiny, which is individual, but we can all meet at its certain stages, because they are universal!

Teach, Learn, Share

Travelling is about new experiences. You cannot go travelling without being open to embrace whatever comes along your way. For this, you need empathy, you've gotta be humble, and trusting that whatever happens to you it's for your personal improvement. If you travel with positive vibes your environment (no matter where you happen to be) will reflect the same.

Countries I’ve Visited
