About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet other good hearted people, specially spiritual/new age type

ABOUT ME

Just a simple guy from Sydney. I am clean, have a nice clean house and prefer guests who are clean as well. :-) No smoke/drink/drugs. Spiritual (sometimes I wonder why haven't I become a monk). I prefer you to arrange your meals elsewhere as I am particular about a few things, including my kitchen. Also, please do *not* bring any non-veg food to my place in any form. Love chanting music and a range of movies. Down to earth and some sense of humour. Grew up in India, been in Aus for 17 years now. Please be CLEAN, CAREFUL and CONSIDERATE sort of person. Kindly mention that you shall arrange your meals elsewhere in your request, and also that you won't bring anything with meat into my home so I know you have read at least some of my profile. Else I am quite likely to decline your request.

PHILOSOPHY

If we can truly connect to the source within our own individual selves then all emotional turmoil will be settled, all worries gone, all uncertainty dissolved, all confusion dissipated, all quests fulfilled, and all questions answered.

I reckon all scriptures from all faiths are true, just that most people interpret them too literally, not realising that their real teachings manifest when they are interpreted metaphorically with ones own wisdom rather than sermons and lectures of a priest/preacher.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love music by Brenda MacMorrow, Guru Ganesh Singh, Manish Vyas, Deva Premal, Prem Joshua, Imee Ooi, Jaya Lakshmi, Krishna Das, Kevin James and others (they are chanting, spiritual kirtan singers, in case you were wondering)

Books - "Karma Yoga" (Swami Vivekananda) was life changing, "An Autobiography of a Yogi" (Swami Yogananda) was stimulating, "Freedom in Exile" (H.H. Dalai Lama) was inspiring, "Chants of a Lifetime" (Krishna Das) was educating, "Masters of Wisdom" (Osho) was captivating and "The Third Eye" (Lobsang Rampa) was entertaining.

Movies - Inception, Matrix, 13 Days, U571, Ace Ventura, Shrek, Madagascar, Ice Age...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Angkor Wat in Cambodia was an amazing sight and Burning Man (US) was a truly incredible experience. Next set of amazing things I'd like to see are the Egyptian Pyramids and Temples, The Grand Canyon, Stonehenge, Uluru's Ayer rock, the Auroras, Konark and Madurai temples, Ajanta/Ellora caves, Machu Picchu,....

Teach, Learn, Share

I like cooking home style vegetarian Indian food. Would like to learn some Italian, Thai and general Asian vegetarian cooking, too.

Just finished Swedish massage course in Sydney.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am reasonably good with vegetarian Indian cooking. Also I am trained in Swedish massage, so I can help you relax.

Countries I’ve Visited
