About Me

live life
Also, sorry for my low reply rate, I have been offline for a couple of years
also, this new interface sucks :(

Student bum, science, people and music lover
Science popularizer

Simple, talkative, playful, don't give a fuck and often cynical, don't make plans, low maintenance with all the time in the world and with me it's what you see is what you get. And that's not a lot either :)

I like to sleep outdoors and put things on fire. When I grow up I want to be what I am now.

My upbringing was poor so I swear and curse a lot, fart, burp, throw cigarette buds and even spit in public. I drink too much (not anymore) and sleep too long, drive drunk and dance like a zombie.
I'd rather drink beer near the fire in a dark forest in the middle of the night surrounded by wild animals than in a pub. But then again, who wouldn't, riiight?! :)

Basically I am just very charming and like to hang around with people.

PHILOSOPHY

I think I'm a bit nihilistic and a lot more hedonistic. It's a nice combination if you want to have fun in life, not so nice if you want to be "successful". But I say fuck beeing successful if you figured out how to be happy. This philosophy has driven me to a mild depression, ironically :) But I am my old self again, thanks for wondering about that :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be really honest, I host(ed) a bunch of people and I'm really not in the mood for sightseeing. Bars are really overrated and I avoid them as much as I can. I can promise you clean sheets and at least a couple of hours of my time.

Everything else depends on the situation, mood, motivation and of course company (you).

Oh yes, I don't care much about reference writing on CS. I mostly do not leave references unless the surfer or surfers have influenced me to do so in some way, and I will not be insulted if you also don't. I don't trust some "he was very helpful and open minded" kind of generic reference bullshit coz it means nothing. I understand that it exists for security purposes but I also believe that I have already proven that I'm not a psycho rapist by the references I already acquired.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a lot of CSers, surfed less but that's gonna change.

It's the only way to travel.

Interests

science and education, photography, road trips and friends around a camp fire, exploring music, art and love. I used to play drums in a band.

I also like to kick back and watch a good movie, play a board game or cards and a bunch of other things. I love rooftops.

I love every new situation, it's what life is about.

and frisbee!

Music, Movies, and Books

Punk/rock/ska/grunge child.
Got fed up with guitars so started to explore all kinds of broken beat and heavy bass music and electro dub.
Lately also hip hop/idm/experimental/techno

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This country is still 15 years behind the world but it really looks as good as on the postcards.
And I am still living here. Now that's amazing!
:)

Teach, Learn, Share

Zagreb: Welcome trough the gate of the Balkans! The city that wants so bad to be "western" but is deeply defined by it's eastern european culture and history. Probably the most civilized city of the balkans.

Here you will learn how to be temperament, how to use curses and swears in every sentence, you will expirience the student life without the books and lectures, where beer is cheaper inside the college building than in the cheapest bar. You will eat burek and cevapi. The balkans are a beautiful wild place, just like a jungle, where you can meet many weird species such as people not from Zagreb and the people who don't know much about anything at all. They're everywhere!
It is a great place to see once in a lifetime.

So welcome to the gates of the most uncivilised part of the civilised world.
