Haviel Perdana (from Indonesia) and I work together as a team, touring Indigo Moon Theatre co. We do shows and workshops in theatres, schools, festivals etc - whoever wants us!

PHILOSOPHY

Similar to Buddhism, but with a strong belief in the empowering qualities of creative Arts.
Through our work we aim to increase tolerance / international understanding / creativity to hopefully empower people / inspire.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We already travel a lot in the UK through the course of our work but are keen to develop international touring. By joining this organisation we might stay with people elsewhere and offer the same to people who find themselves here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are beginners, at time of writing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in West Java , Indonesia for 2 years observing / trying to absorb traditional puppetry / mask dance.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are skilled in various puppetry techniques including shadow theatre, and Haviel is a skilled electro-composer / arranger / sound mixer (as well as a visual artist too).
We would love to be able to extend our work and tour abroad.
It would be great to share the running of a communal Arts Centre (somewhere!anywhere?) one day (probably on higher ground than Beverley / much of the UK!)
