ABOUT ME

Well, what is there to say about me. I am your average small town girl that felt tickled by the wide world. From growing up in a small village in Germany, I got to be fascinated, if not obsessed, with the UK. The language, the people, the traditions, all of it. So, once school was over and done with, I moved there for Uni and that is what I am doing at the moment! I love the nerdy and geeky as much as the "just" normal and so you can either catch me out with my friends (be it night or day) or cooped in my room building websites, in heated online discussions about Doctor Who (or, ya know, Merlin :P), curled up with a good book or reordering my too-many-for-my-room DVD collection.

I always love meeting new people and, if you ever happen to be in Sheffield, make sure you drop by and say hello!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

How do I participate? Well, for one thing, I offer my couch to any lost soul that seems half decent. But to add to the experience of sleeping in a proper run-of-the-mill english student house on a mouldy couch (well, not REALLY mouldy :P) I always love showing people around, organising fun things to do etc. so if you're coming to Sheffers with nothing to do, I'd also love to show you around the place, take you to my favourite places, restaurants, whatnot and try and make it a fun stay for you!

I once was standing next to Rupert Grint, with him having his arm around me, for about ten minutes, while chatting the living daylight away. TALK ABOUT BLOODY AMAZING! xD

What can I share with you guys? Good question. Maybe my experience with handicapped people? Because I've had a lot and it has been wonderful and fulfilling. I grew up in a rather spiritual/esoteric household so I am pretty well-versed on that subject. Other than that? No real idea. Typical life experiences everyone makes that moves from one country to the other, I guess. :)
