About Me

CURRENT MISSION

giggling my way through saving the world.

ABOUT ME

I land somewhere between radically progressive, and an old time Appalachian homesteader.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to figure out how i can make the world a better place, while still keeping myself sane and happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I can, and surf when it seems like fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have about a decade of analogue-style couchsurfing experience from my childhood.
I've also learned in the past couple years that hosting people makes me love my city-- it's easy to forget all the amazing things I have access to around here.

Interests

Art, farming, jokes, gender studies, craft, plants, dancing, adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fingal's cave on the west of Scotland is probably the most amazing place I've ever been.

Teach, Learn, Share

oh good. I love to pass on some of these bits of knowledge i've gained along the way... Let's see... knitting, crochet, felting, sewing, and dying are things I seem to often be teaching folks. I can absolutely teach you to contra dance if you're in town on the night of a dance, or I can teach you to waltz any time. With a little effort we could have a blacksmithing or metal work session, or I could just try to talk you through the process of lost-wax casting methods... I can teach you to can fruit and make jams. We could talk about color theory, and mixing paint. Photography lessons? what about some chit-chat about plants and how to make good soil? I'm also the worlds for-most expert on what makes a good swimming hole.
