Self-descriptions are tough. . . first, there's the issue of our ability to accurately see ourselves; then there's the issue of language being so often ineffective as an adequate and accurate means of communicating. . .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

traveling most often as a solo traveler i have been blessed often with and by the kindness of others who have taken me in, showed me around and even nursed me when sick. these kinds of experiences help me to remember the beauty of humanity in a time when the media would easily have us forget.

I've hosted a handful of times in the past, but not recently as I've mostly been traveling myself for the past few years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ok--as the first two people into tikal one morning in the month of october, my boyfriend and i were graced with the presence of a jaguar just meters away. we stood with locked gazes until the beautiful cat slowly walked back into the forest. that was even better than the whale shark in the bay islands.
