ABOUT ME

I am cheerful, thoughtful and happy. I believe in working hard on the weekdays and having a pleasurable weekend to indulge in my hobbies and spending time with family & friends. I like to have friends over for dinner parties, going to the cinema, try out new restaurants, swimming and explore what London can offer. I am into photography and like many Asians- love taking pictures!

I enjoy experimenting with different recipes and trying new food - living in London allows me to indulge in different types of food, go to Michelin star restaurants and taste wonderful melting pot of food in markets, organic stores etc...

Whenever my time and budget permits, I travel around Europe and Asia to visit my friends and explore new places... Some of my favourite places includes Thailand for their wonderful massages, scenic beach and elegantly presented food, Dubai for the sand dunes, Morocco for food and crafts and Italy for delicious gelatos, fashion & fresh pestos. I am planning to travel to Milan, Rome, Venice and Andalusia this summer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy meeting like minded people and learning about new cultures. I am interested to let my guest to try the different cuisine which I have learned to cook with my flatmates or explore the dining scene in London.

Being an avid traveller and having lived in 5 countries so far, I am naturally attracted to get to know other cultures from the locals.

I am curious to try Couch Surfing as many friends have recommended me to and tried it. I also would like to meet new friends during my travel around Europe and Asia.

Interests

I enjoy watching films, cooking, going to the cinema, fashion, karaoke, reading and travelling. I read books to enhance my general knowledge, generate new ideas for problem solving at work and participate in meaningful conversations. Recently my friends and I volunteer for Barnados, helping children in need.

Music, Movies, and Books

i have read many books by Paulo Coelho and Malcolm Gladwell. I listen to mostly R&B,pop, dance and modern jazz... I enjoy French films like Amelie, Beautiful Lies, Coco avant Chanel etc... My favourite tv series at the moment are Cake Boss, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Master Chef, Anthony Bourdain-No reservation and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in the Sahara dessert and camel riding for 3 hours with my best friends in Morocco was an eye opening experience- having no fresh water to drink for 2 days... I learn to appreciate natural resources more nowdays.
