PHILOSOPHY ~ Love is the origin and the destination

I am a spiritual being who loves the exploration of both the inner and outer world.
I am a music artist and composer.
I have a calm and centered personality. I am warm and easygoing.
I enjoy peace and quiet. I meditate daily. I love nature.
I enjoy many types of food, especially simple vegetarian dishes made with love.
I love the ocean and the sky.
Music has always been the center of my life. I play several instruments and sing, and I record and compose soundscapes using a computer and all kinds of equipment. I love to improvise and explore the flow of the moment.
I enjoy honest and clear communication in all relationships.
I look forward to new adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting beings who are curious about life and themselves ('know thyself'). I look forward to have a proper home for welcoming couchsurfers who are easygoing, independent, open-minded, caring (and maybe even curious about what lies beyond the known). Presently, I'm rarely able to host due to my crammed living situation, but open to meet up if you are in the area and feel a particular desire to reach out to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Cloud Atlas, Being There, Contact, Her, The Wind Rises (and pretty much everything else by Hayao Miyazaki).
Music: too much to even begin to mention... but everything by Kate Bush, many things by Bill Evans (jazz pianist), Nina Simone, a few pieces by Claude Debussy that I always come back to, Robbie Basho, warm sensual soul music (especially older), dreamy ambient, all things gentle and atmospheric, deep hypnotic electronic music etc etc... Also, I have so many artist friends and will often listen to their music (most are not so well known).
Books: The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, Tao Te Ching by Lao-Tze, The Neverending Story by Michael Ende, everything by Abraham-Hicks, Hafiz, Rumi...
