ABOUT ME

I am a guy who loves to travel, eat, learn (especially languages), and live free! Until I decide what I want to do with my life I will be riding the waves of fate and see where they take me.
I have huge interests in the culinary field, theatre, linguistics, and travel. I don't want to be stuck in a long term job and hope to open my own business once I subdue my travel bug slightly. I have a lot of passion and a lot of fire but I am very easy to get on with and love meeting new people from all around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe people need to not get trapped by their job, relationships, or expectations others have of them. I honestly believe that we can have anything we want in life if we fully commit to it and work hard. Experiences are worth more important than money. Money is not power, just a tool. Love is something that should find you when the time is right, not something we need to constantly be seeking in desperation. Always move forward.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went couch surfing when I was in Morocco last year and hosted a few members when I was living in Moscow as well as attended several CS meetings and events. I spent 8 months of 2011 traveling Europe and have been hosted by over a dozen fantastic people. Now I host and surf whenever I get the chance!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed and met for drinks with a lot of couchsurfers across Europe and South America. Once I stop moving around I can try my hand at hosting a bit more.

Interests

FOOD! Everyone who knows me will know that I love to eat, cook, take pictures of food, and even read about it online.
I also love Fashion and can't stop buying clothes, but I move so often that I must throw out just as much (or donate it)
Literature, reading, and writing. I prefer fiction so I can get sucked into another world.

I love all Apple products and would swear by them even against my own life ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Avatar, Sound of Music, Entrapment, Disney and Pixar Movies,Lord of the Rings, Mean girls, Legally Blonde, Most anything Johnny Depp, Sweeney Todd, and so many more great works.
Books: Books by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, The True Blood Series, The Eight by Katherine Neville, The Magicians by Lev Grossman, The Hunger Games Trilogy.
Music: I love a mix of all sorts of genres especially the quirky. I can't handle the super heavy stuff. I love power ballads both current and from the eighties, I love Glee and their music, Savage Garden, Lady Gaga, and Carrie Underwood. My favorite band for the past year and current is Paramore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pet tigers, bungee jumped, washed and rode an elephant in a river, climbed a 7 story waterfall in Thailand, Climbed Table Mountain in South Africa, went squid fishing, sand boarding, have seen Niagara falls, Driven across most of Canada and America. Seen most of Western Europe and have indulged in all the artistic, historical, and gastronomical wonders of the continent.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could share some acting, teaching, cooking, and travel tips. I am also creative and will help you with any project I can contribute.

I am always looking to learn, practice or teach languages (English, Spanish, or French) . Over the past year it has become a huge passion of mine!
