Serving the marginals and work in a mission couldn't pay you to meet people all around the world. However, if you do it with good deeds and pure motives, added with hard work and faith, the nature will conspire to open the door of continuous blessings for you.

Interests

I am a school teacher in a remote place, in the heart of Papua jungle, 3 hours by off road from Wamena. I am currently living my two passions serving the marginals and seeing the other side of the world. Thus, besides teaching lovely children in the village, in my long break or holiday, I really like traveling, beach-ing and having culinary expedition :) If I am not traveling, I'll spend it with watching movie with husband, trekking to the mountains or hills nearby, cooking and baking for selling to fund our passion in traveling. In my journey, I always love to visit the nature, the traditional market, collect the signature ethnics and fabrics, and experience the signature foods in each city I visit. YET the one that always fascinates me is making friends with people from all over the world, seeing their live, listening to their stories, and sharing life experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach students as well as I learn from them. I learned Peace and Conflict Studies that benefitted me to find my own inner peace. I can share culture, social, and political insights of my country Indonesia but mostly West Papua where I and the bird of paradise live. I play a bit of instruments such as guitar and ukulele.

My experience living in this remote paradise.
If you are interested with South East Asia, esp Indonesia and Papua.. I can share some tips and destinations that I have visited.
My husband and I can cook Asian or typical Indonesian dishes too for you :)
