Overview
About Me
Hello, I'm a postgrad student who currently reside in Manchester, UK. Before moved to UK in January 2023, I already have experiences surfing and hosting back in 2010 to 2018. But after that, I tried to stop hosting because of the circumstances in my parent's house.
Right now, I'll be able to meet up with people in Manchester to show around and explore the city, though I am a newbie myself. But, if you'd like to explore The University of Manchester, I'll be glad to be your guide!
I am an introvert person who love to travel, I also a good listener and thoughtful person. At least that's what my friends are saying about me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing help me to meet new friends from different countries, I'll be able to learn cultures, spend more time speaking English, and just find the uniqueness in each person. I believe everyone is one of a kind!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy indie-folk or pop-folk music like Of Monsters and Men, The Paper Kites, Mumford and Sons, The Head and the Heart, Lord Huron
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Kindness of people whom I met while traveling
2. Witness the incredible concert by Sigur Ros in Jakarta
3. Laying in Koh Phi Phi Ley, Thailand just like Leo in "The Beach"
4. Couchsurfing spirit! I love it!
5. 50-days solo backpacking trip across Europe
6. Learn the story of World War II in Berlin and Warsaw
7. Feel the terror of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp
8. Meet an amazing Muslim German woman in Hannover
9. See the greatness of European cathedrals, my favorite: Kolner Dom and St. Peter's Basilica
10. Learn Polish basic phrases (it's a difficult language to be pronounced!)
11. 10.491 km from home, according to Bratislava tower
12. Learn about Empress Sisi in Vienna, while strolling around in Schloss Schonbrunn
13. Try (hard) to know the time from Brno's penis clock
14. Buda and Pest side from the river at night, they are illuminated graciously
15. Visit Eifel National Park in North-Rhine Westphalia of Germany, and learn about plants and birds from Jenny, my host
16. Meet the Mayor of Ljubljana
17. Alfredo's pasta in Venice, it was exquisite!
18. Fasting for 19 hours in a hot summer day while in Europe, and it went well!
19. Take 2-hours queue to buy a train ticket, sitting on the train floor for 5 hours, missed the last connection to Ljubljana, and spend money to stay at hostel in Zagreb! And I have to pay 42 euros for all that hassle, it was all because Hungarian railway works. Very unfortunate of me
more comes...
Teach, Learn, Share
Traveling makes you believe that humanity is still existed. I was helped by many people when I travel, which is remind me, we are brothers and sisters, separated by the country border.
Teach: Bahasa Indonesia, filing documents (sound boring), arrange a home library (boring too?), travel planning.
Learn: Cooking local food (even I am not cooking) and language! French, Italian, German, Greek... basically I love learning new language, so come and let me learn some your basic phrases!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My previous hosts said that I am a polite, organized, and neat person (please read my references). If you say do not leave hairs in the shower, I will do it. If you ask to separate the garbage, I will not think twice. etc, etc.
Although I am a quiet person, I can share to you about my beautiful country and the craziness of Jakarta's public transportation. In these topics, I could be a chatter :)
