Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Man, I never knew there were this many Belgians in the world! Hosted a wave of them earlier this year. And they were delightful, each and every one of them, without exception. Much like the rest of Couch surfing. You're a bunch of freaks! In the nicest possible way, and that is my considered opnion in my capacity as an Expert Freak.

I spent a gorgeous six weeks in Ireland and Scotland in 2008, most of it CS'ing. Delightful. Some of the best nutters I've ever had the delight to meet :D

My dog had her own profile. Within a week she had six friends and a vouch. It took me two years to get a handful of friends and two vouches, and it takes her less than a week. Then she got hurled out of couchsurfing because CS is for humans only. Grrrr. Anyway, she loves CS. It means I have to feed her when there are surfers here, and she gets attention. She's just asked me to say she can't help but wonder, though, because after a few days I take the surfers out the door and she never sees them again. She isn't insinuating anything, mind you. She's just wondering....

Interests

Writing stories. Writing, watching and making movies. Obsessively listening to music. Reading comics. Talking shit about a pretty sunset. Taking photos and morbing out when they don't turn out nearly as spectacular as they looked like in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once wrote a song about abuse. Last year I was lucky enough to realise the song with great musicians. Their performance gave my gooseflesh. Then I had the chance to recreate a 3 minute 1920s German horror movie for the video of the song.
