Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To continue to see the world through as many different perspectives as possible
ABOUT ME
Out of nothing and back to nothing with infinite possibilities in between. Trying live while alive and make some art.
PHILOSOPHY
I need to see more points of view before I really decide on my own. So at this stage my goal is to expose myself to as many different realities as possible.
One thing I have picked up is that the key to doing anything well is to simply be present.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I have a place with cool roommates and room for couchsurfers the door is open. I used couchsurfing and warmshowers quite a bit when cycle touring Europe this past summer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed a handful of times and hosted twice, all great experiences and I truly believe this is one of the greatest developments of modern information technology, being able to connect with like minded strangers and travelers and share experiences and resources.
Interests
This is always a tough one for me since I have so many.
Any mountain sport- biking, trail running, tele skiing, boarding.
Any bike related activity- touring, racing, or just riding.
Art- printmaking is my favorite medium followed by painting, neither of which I have had much time for. I am really interested in getting more into photography as well.
Motorcycles- as into bicycles as I am, dirt bikes were my first love, I grew up desert racing with my dad. I currently own a '95 1100GS for adventure and commuting when not pedaling

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm into any art that is thought provoking, abundantly creative, or just good adventure.
Movies-Easy Rider, High Fidelity, 500 days of Summer, Worlds Fastest Indian, Waking Life
Music- It's all good until it gets overplayed, but my favorites are blues, reggae, and alt rock.
Books- I'm going through a poetry phase-anything free form, stream of conscious, and to the point. Love Mark Twain, Kerouac, and Huxley
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied abroad in Florence for a semester and then Spain for two months in the following summer. The entire experience was incredible but the one thing that really stands out was being in Madrid at the onset of the Spanish Revolution in the Peurto del Sol. Seeing all these people gather together to take care of each other and stand up for something they believed in was inspiring.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can fix your bike and/or show you how to do it yourself, pretty handy with basic household and automotive repairs, good with pets and kids, and a creative cook. I'm interested in all forms of philosophy and spirituality and have far more questions than answers.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Cook Islands, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Saint Martin (French part), Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
