HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When home I host or meet people for a drink/coffee/activities/to show the city and other cool places. I try best to be on top of the intriguing and local places to show guests. When travelling I like to surf or meet up with interesting, genuine and fun loving people to create great moments and form authentic experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the opportunity to surf, host and meet people for social activities. Such a great way to get to know new people and get an insight into the culture of the place you are in, local vibe and lifestyle, and offer that in return when at home.

Interests

My interests include music (guitar, singing, mandolin, bass, keys, and writing music), sport (soccer, basketball, tennis, and ice hockey), going out with friends, film, travelling, exploring nature, attempting to cook, and languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite films are Garden State, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Once, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, as well as films in other languages besides English. I enjoy alternative rock, melodic folk, acoustic, and indie music. However, being a musician I believe all musical forms have something to offer and appreciate. Artists I listen to are diverse and we would need to talk music over a beer or coffee. Its cool to appreciate art forms from all over the world and keep alert for up and coming artists and gigs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recorded a debut EP. I learnt that is never too late to pursue your dreams and follow your heart. Now in London I am in a band and we are working on our first album.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have spent time in numerous places and feel like I could assist people in becoming further educated in the places I have visited. I am happy to help if anyone wants to learn guitar and to read music or cook some tasty food together! Also I am a qualified English language teacher so am always happy to help if you would like to improve. Interested in learning about new languages and improving my cooking skills.
