ABOUT ME

Just moved to Inverness in the last 6 months, so relatively new to the area. Looking forward to exploring the landscape and climbing Munros. I love traveling, being completely lost and wandering around in forests. I have a dog Australian/Annatolian Shepherd who looks rather Bearish and partially Tree kangaroo-like. I am passionate about music, so I will see good music whenever I can as well as try and play some tolerable music from time to time.

I restore discarded and unwanted couches and find them new homes where they are again loved, stained and bottom-creviced.

Very folky orientated music tastes but delves into soul, rock, classical, bluegrass and even some cheesy pop. Favourites: Johnny Flynn, Bonnie Prince Billy, Fionn Regan, Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison, Jeff Buckley, Beirut, Nick Drake, Tallest Man on Earth, Shearwater, Cherry Ghost, Fairport Convention, Villagers etc.

Books: Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Catch 22, Norwegian Wood, Jitterbug Perfume, Secret Life of Trees, A Call to Arms, 100 years of Solitude and Puddle Boy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Grown things, dived off a waterfall during a Hurricane and made pot after fabulous pot of tea.

I want to learn woodworking skills, I have dabbled myself a little.

I can climb trees (ropes and harness and all that).
